Open Letter

When I was thinking about establishing a sustainable fashion brand three years ago, I always knew it would be a bit more than just a brand. I founded ADVA intending to give you an option to buy garments that are not harmful to the planet or human beings.
But what I wanted the most was to make a change in the industry and to build a company that has sustainability in its core.

And here I am happy to introduce you to our new manifesto, or mission if you'd like.
CIRCULARITY.
The most important word after sustainability.

We live in a world where over-production, over-consumerism and over-waste is a usual thing. I believe that if we tried to incorporate the mechanism of the circular economy to our lives that we can make a change. It's a long journey, but it's worth it. The system is clearly broken so it’s up to us to do something about it.

With our new collection introduced in September, we made it closer to our goal. We’ve introduced a collection that is made only from 100% natural organic certified or upcycled materials, meaning no harm is caused to the environment or any humans for that matter. Our garments are made mindfully by our seamstresses and all ethical standards are met during the production. Every item from the new collection is 100% biodegradable - this is a massive step for us because this means no waste after you are done wearing your piece. And at last, every garment we make is not harmful to your skin.

Lastly, I am proud to say that we started to give back to our beautiful nature by planting a tree for every product we sell. Because we have to take care of our environment, no one else we’ll do it for us.

Huge thanks to all of you who are on this journey with us. ADVA is everything I want it to be.
