Our Materials

We only use organic certified or sustainable textiles. With the new collection introduced in September 2019 we made a promise to use only 100% single fibre fabrics. This mean no blends anymore. This is a one step closer for us to a circular economy system. Because single fibres are easier to recycle and most of them are also biodegradable, and some of them compostable at home (GOTS certified cotton).

Organic Cotton
It's grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment. GOTS certified cotton uses significantly less water to grow and zero harmful toxins, pesticides or chemicals. It's biodegradable as well as compostable. Our organic cotton comes from Izmir, Turkey.
Tencel
It's a cellulose fibre derived from a wood pulp in a unique closed loop that recycles almost 100% of water and a solvent and is biodegradable. Our tencel comes from a small supplier in Germany, and they source it directly from Lenzing, Austria.
Refibra Tencel
It's a Tencel and post-consumer cotton. It's is produced in a closed-loop production cycle; the solvents used to process the wood and cotton fibers are 99.7% captured and can be used over and over again; the only outputs are REFIBRA and water. The process also reduces the use of water by 95% compared to cotton fabric manufacturing and does not pollute the air, soil or water. Our Refibra comes from a small supplier in Germany, and they source it directly from Lenzing, Austria.
Wool
It's one of the most naturally materials in the world. It keeps you warm but it also breathes. It is naturally water repellenta and is long-lasting. It's also 100% biodegradable. Our wool is sourced from a small sheep farm in Lower Saxony in Germany and is certified organic. That means animal welfare is guaranteed.
Recycled Polyester
It's produced from recycled sources: PET bottles, industrial polyester waste and even old garments. Keeps waste out of landfills and lowers over overall carbon footprint. Our recycled polyester comes from Turkey and it's knitted in Portugal.
Bamboo
It's a natural textile made from the pulp of a bamboo grass. It grows rapidly without the use of pesticide, fertilizers or herbicides. It is 100% biodegradable. We used bamboo in our previous collections. The bamboo silk came from China.
